ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES

Students must be at least seventeen (17) years of age on or before the first day of class. The applicant must also be a high school graduate or have satisfied graduation requirements through the General Education Development (GED) Test. Individual classes or workshops do not require an admissions test.

A student who is beyond the age of compulsory education, lacks a high school diploma or its equivalent, and has the ability to benefit from the education or training offered may also be admitted. The ability to benefit will be determined by an admissions test and pre-entry counseling.

The Career Program Assessment Test (CPAt), an admissions test, is administered to potential students. (See individual programs for entrance score requirements.) Test results enable the Director and the Director of Education to determine remedial and counseling needs. All students lacking a high school diploma or GED will be tested independently of the school by a private proctor.
